The game has many rules that must be followed including the location of the court, the point maximum, the rotation of the players and the tossing of the ball. It is also important to note that the rules committee are subject to change depending on the preferences of the players.

Important Sepak Takraw Rules and Scoring

If there are five or seven people in a team, the game is to be played using a volleyball that has no less than twenty-one points. This can only be done if there are two teams playing at a single game. There are other variations that have been made like having two teams play on each side using a different rotation and using a ten-point rotation as well.

One of the most fundamental rules is that the volleyball must have a standard size and the length is nine feet nine inches apart for regulation. The point making capacity is one point per every fifteen seconds.

In the event that the ball goes out of bounds, the officials will then raise the point maximum up to the highest number allowed. Each team member must wear a uniform that has the same color scheme as the uniform for the team. As a reminder, the volleyball must be a minimum of eighteen inches in length and can have up to five rings on the handle.

When you are ready to play, there are specific volleyball actions that need to be observed. The official rules and scoring are included in the instruction manual that comes along with the set of volleyball shoes.

It does not matter whether or not you have ever played this game before, the basic rules are the same. Each team member must throw their pass toward the other team’s goal using their designated throwing hand. This is the point of play.

In order to start the match, each team must line up behind their own net and then, after making sure that the ball is completely cleared from the playing area, the official will whistle three times.

The first team to make three touches with the ball will be declared to be the first team to win the game. Each team is then given a ten-second timeout to organize things. If a team uses all of its timeouts, the other team must do the same. This game is known as the “time out”.

There are a few important rules associated with volleyball and these are the basics of the game that any player should be aware of. The basic volleyball play consists of four quarters, each of which lasts for three minutes.

Once the play reaches its halftime, regulation time begins and the teams resume play in the second quarter. Here is a list of some of the most important Sepak Takraw Terminology commonly used in volleyball:

Each team member is allowed to use one touch only on their primary hand. They may, however, perform two touches using the same hand. It is also important to note that when a team member touches the ball with their non-dominant hand, their team mate must push them away from the ball using the dominant hand.

This is to ensure that there are no unbalanced teams, and that the game can continue to the next quarter. A volleyball team member cannot block the ball with their non-dominant hand either.

A volleyball game is only considered to be played if it has started and both teams have been playing for two hours. The remaining thirty-five minutes are considered “extra” time. There are no restrictions on the number of games a team can play in a row; the only restriction is that each team must begin the same at the same time.

Each team is required to have at least one member with the correct playing skills, including kicking. Teams are permitted to change players at any time during the game, but only one team member per team per match will be allowed to change.
