Mahjong Terminology – A Brief Guide to Terms Used in the Game

Generally speaking, this means that a team member must be touching the other team’s wall or piece in order to count as one of the 21 points for that team. On the other end of the spectrum, when a team member scores one point that team has to play one more player from the opposite team and then the point game will end. These are the general rules in every game of mahjong.

The final Sepak Takraw Terminology term we are going to discuss is the “commercial use license”. A commercial use license is just a term used in the United States to describe a copyright or patent. A license is granted so that the creator or author can monetize the creation. In the case of Mahjong, this would include selling a game, playing online and using electronic devices like iPads and cell phones.
